Customer Service interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about purchase orders and to handle and resolve basic basic tasks tasks.

They will process customer orders from customers. Make reach-out calls to existing customers for supply chain related matters as well as other internal Departments.

Responsible for customer management and their service satisfaction, order management and delivery status, revenue achievement, business issues resolution (Material issues, Logistics, PPV, Credit, RMA’s).

Our customer service reps are the face/voice of the company, and we expect exceptional service from them. Work with customers through emails and incoming calls to place orders, identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction.

Experiencia y requisitos

Responsibilities:

  • Sales order and forecast maintenance for assigned customers.
  • Setup new customers in the system for given Bill to and ship to as needed.
  • Review customer purchase orders against quotations and resolve any discrepancies prior to processing the order. Conducting contract review at order receipt.
  • Acknowledge all orders (PO Receipt) When that is not possible communicate when the order will be acknowledged.
  • Understanding of Kanban system for selected customers.
  • Ensure revision control processes are maintained.Insure the validity of pricing.
  • Interact with the planning team as required to establish an acknowledged shipping date. Reinforce the customers need date when in conflict with MEC’s promise date.
  • Manage RMA entry
  • Track customer complaints & returns to ensure timely proper corrective action and communication
  • Facilitate periodic status review meetings with customers (Open Orders and Quality status)
  • Coordinate and communicate manufacturing issues with internal departments throughout resolution.
  • Ensure response to customers email communications pertaining to quotes, inquiries, meeting follow-up, and complaints.

Education and Experience:

  • Business English. Written/Spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, International Commerce, Industrial engineer, Electrica/Electronic engineer)
  • Experience 1-3 years
  • Basic Excel and Microsoft office
  • Basic experience on ERP systems.
