We are looking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of purchasing activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials and components required for manufacturing operations, while driving supplier performance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

🔹 Coordinate daily purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.

🔹 Support supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and purchasing strategies.

🔹 Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.

🔹 Collaborate with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve material shortages and supply chain issues.

🔹 Analyze purchasing KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve department performance.

🔹 Oversee purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and material availability through SAP or other ERP systems.

🔹 Support supplier development, evaluation, and risk management activities.

🔹 Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency.

🔹 Provide guidance and support to purchasing team members, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.

🔹 Support the Purchasing Manager in strategic decision-making and departmental projects.
