Position Summary

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, cost objectives, and productivity goals are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production goals and customer delivery requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
  • Coordinate production planning and scheduling based on demand forecasts and manufacturing capacity.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, efficiency, on-time delivery, and cost control.
  • Supervise and support cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to support operational objectives.
  • Manage manufacturing budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Develop, coach, and evaluate supervisors and production personnel.
  • Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve performance and operational efficiency.

Experiencia y requisitos

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience within the textile, apparel, garment, or textile printing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, process optimization, and quality systems.
  • Experience managing large production teams and multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • English proficiency preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
